Never mind的口語用法
1. 表示安慰，意為：別著急；不要緊；沒關系。如：
There，there，never mind！ 好啦，好啦，不要緊的。
Never mind，next time Im sure you can do better. 沒關系，我相信你下次一定會做得好些。
A：Weve missed the train！我們錯過火車了。
B：Never mind，therell be another in ten minutes. 不要緊，過十分鐘又有一趟。
2. 用來謝絕別人的提供，意為：不用啦；別費事啦。如：
A：Can I help you with it？要我幫你做這事嗎？
B：Never mind. 別費心啦。
有時用作反語。如：
Never mind saying youre sorry，whos going to pay for the damage youve done？ 別說對不起了，你損壞的東西誰來賠？
3. 用來回答道歉，意為：沒關系；沒什么。如：
A：Sorry to have kept you waiting. 對不起，讓你久等了。
B：Never mind. 沒關系。
A：Im sorry Ive spilt some tea on the table-cloth. 對不起，我把茶灑在桌布上了。
B：Never mind，it will wash out. 沒關系，洗得掉的。
4. 用來否定某一想法或提議等，意為：算了；沒什么。如：
Never mind， please dont go for it. I shant want it. 算了，請不要去取了，我不想要。

5. 用來回答挖苦或指責，意為：這與你無關；這不關你的事；這不用你管。如：
A：Do you call yourself a gentleman，sir？ 你還自稱為紳士，先生？
B：Never mind，sir. 這不關你的事。
6. 后接名詞、代詞、從句等，表示：不用管； 別介意；別理會；更不用說等。如：
Never mind him，hes not serious. 別介意，他是說著玩的。
Never mind who told me，thats of no importance. 不用管是誰告訴我的，那無關緊要。
How would he find the time？Never mind the money. 他怎么能找到時間來做這事？ 那就更別提錢了。
注：Never mind 是習語，它不能改為：Dont mind.
