　　強調結構：It is/was+被強調部分+that/who+句子剩余部分。強調結構可用來強調除謂語之外的所有成分：主語、賓語、狀語等。應注意以下方面：

　　1.強調主語用主格，強調賓語用賓格。

　　It was I that met Tom in the park.

　　It was him that I met in the park.

　　2.只有強調人的時候可用who,其余的一律用that,不管強調的是時間、地點還是原因、方式。

　　It was in Shanghai that I saw the film.

　　3.若把強調結構中的“It is/was...that/who...”去掉，仍為一個完整句子，因此應注意狀語的完整性，一定不要丟掉了必要的介詞。

　　It was in 1975 that I worked in the factory.

　　4.若強調主語，從句的謂語動詞應與被強調的主語一致。

　　It is Prof.Lin who teaches us English.

　　5.注意強調結構與定語從句的區別。

　　It is the factory where I worked 30 years ago.(定語從句)

　　It is in the factory that I worked 30 years ago.(強調結構)

　　6.注意not...until的強調：把not與until一并提前。

　　It was not until his mother came back that he went to bed.

　　7.注意強調結構的疑問形式。

　　Was it in the room that we held a meeting?

　　When was it that you saw him for the first time?
