　　observe, watch

　　當觀察來講時，observe相當于watch carefully，尤其用于實驗或研究等場合。具體來說，observe含有察覺到的意思，watch意為盯著看。

　　watch 還含有觀看(比賽、電視)等，而observe沒有此意。另外，watch還有照料之意，相當于take care of。還有當心之意，相當于be careful with。
